Both TNC-G12R/G12 modules come from the company’s intelligent production base, the entire production process ‘visualized’ to make it more efficient and safe. Tongwei products have been approved with certifications from TÜV NORD, the China Quality Certification Center (CQC), MCS in the United Kingdom and the Italian fire resistance association, among others.

With the ESG concept becoming a consensus for the green transformation and sustainable development of the global economy, including the solar industry, Tongwei has also taken a leading role in integrating ESG initiatives into its corporate operations, implementing the ESG concept and low-carbon development across all links of its industrial chain, underlining a forward-looking vision for the development of the global renewable industry as a whole.

As early as 2018, Tongwei began research and development into its proprietary THC technology, providing technical and cost analysis support for large-scale production and, in the area of ​​HJT cells, conducting research into efficiency-enhancing and cost-reducing technologies. , including silver-free and low-cost technologies. -Indian processing and fine slicing.

On April 20, 2024, Tongwei announced that the high-efficiency HJT module independently developed by Tongwei was tested by the authorized third-party testing organization TÜV SÜD, and the highest output power of the module reached 762.79 W under the standard size of 2384 * 1303mm. , with the photovoltaic conversion efficiency reaching 24.56%, which is again a new record for HJT module power.

Since 2023, Tongwei has set a new world record for HJT module power seven times. The module’s power record is due to Tongwei’s advanced HJT cell and module manufacturing process. The cell side adopts double-sided microcrystalline cell technology as the core, further optimizing metallization contact and optical performance, while the module side adopts 0BB interconnect technology developed by Tongwei, superimposed with ultra-low transmission loss and high-density encapsulation and other advanced technologies, to maximize the reduction of optical and electrical losses in the power generation device and significantly increase module power. The high-frequency upgrade of the power register of Tongwei HJT modules verifies the great power potential of Tongwei HJT modules.

In terms of innovation and R&D, Tongwei continued to increase its infrastructure investment and explore the value of HJT cell and module technology. On April 26, the first batch of process equipment from Tongwei Global Innovation R&D Center entered the field, which takes HJT as one of the main R&D directions, and as an important driver for cultivating new energy productivity photovoltaic industry, the establishment of the Global Innovation R&D Center means that Tongwei will continue to lead the development of cutting-edge technology in the photovoltaic industry.

The company currently operates six national green factories, four national green supply chain organizations, three national green design products, and has received no less than 33 domestic and foreign carbon footprint certificates.

Furthermore, Tongwei has built a green supply chain for its photovoltaic cells, continuously upgrading its intelligent manufacturing to improve production efficiency and reduce energy consumption. In terms of environmental protection, the company pioneered the development of a “fishing-PV integration” model, with 54 of these plants already operational across China, with an accumulated installed capacity of 4.07 GW, annually eliminating 5.3 million tons of carbon emissions.

In 2021, the company officially joined the United Nations Global Compact and China Corporate Climate Action, fulfilling its commitment to social responsibility and promoting global sustainable development.

During the first quarter of 2024, Tongwei became part of a series of international initiatives and alliances, joining the SEMI SCC and ECOPV Cooperation Alliance to jointly promote the green and sustainable development of the photovoltaic industry, also joining the initiative global RE100 as a gold member, committing to its goal of using 100% renewable energy by 2030, officially signing the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace.
