Spring: Little rascal Smokey Johnson is known as much for his visual art as his music. Here, he delivers a perfectly corny reaction to the discovery of decaying objects and memories we call spring with a new single and video made by The Last of Us’ emerging director and location scout Ryan Leedu, with help from photography prodigy Laura La France.
“This song is a simple admission of what a change of season in a northern town is like for me,” says Johnson. “If the listener can relate, I feel sorry and grateful for them.
“If you can’t relate, rejoice! And go enjoy your life somewhere else.”

NorthwestFest: Canada’s oldest documentary festival is coming!
