Ronnie O’Sullivan vs Stuart Bingham LIVE: World Snooker Championship scores and latest updates today
Ronnie O’Sullivan is in action at the Crucible Theater tonight to finish his World Snooker Championship quarter-final with Stuart Bingham after they finished the second session level at 8-8. O’Sullivan is chasing an eighth title as well as the treble of the season, but the experienced Bingham is providing a real test after a smooth passage through the first two rounds.
In the other quarterfinals, which ends today, Judd Trump was knocked out by Jak Jones in a huge upset. The world number 2 never got into the groove with a series of shocking errors and Jones capped off the 13-9 victory with a century break. He will now face either O’Sullivan or Bingham in his first Crucible semi-final.
Elsewhere, Kyren Wilson hit John Higgins with more goals to open up a lead before the four-time champion hit back, and David Gilbert reached the world championship final four for the first time in five years with a 13-8 victory over Stephen Maguire.
