The World Sailing Show offers 30-minute episodes that feature news, profiles and race highlights from across the sailing world. Here are the highlights from May 2024:

Around 1,000 athletes across all 10 Olympic events took to the water in search of tickets to the Games, making this the second largest qualifying event outside of the Sailing World Championships.
After hearing from the sailors, the World Sailing Show next presents the boats with an in-depth look at the 470 with Anna Markfort and Simon Diesch from Germany, the ILCA 6 with Danish Anne-Marie Rindom and the ILCA 7 with Micky Bennett of Great Grã -Brittany.
The 470 will be a mixed event in Marseille, having sailed separately at Tokyo 2020, and the pair will be fighting for medals as part of a very strong fleet this summer.
Next, the World Sailing Show heads to Long Beach, California for the Congressional Cup, where Chris Poole and his Riptide Racing team were seeking their second consecutive Cup. The final did not disappoint, as Poole faced five-time champion Ian Williams to decide who would win the trophy and wear the famous Crimson Blazer.
The World Sailing Show meets Dutch 49er phenom Bart Lambriex, who alongside partner Floris van de Werken, has dominated the class in recent years by winning three consecutive World Championships before being beaten to the fourth by a strong French crew. Bart tells us why the duo works so well on the water and what makes the 49er so exciting. The pair will be looking forward to the Olympic 49er event, even though conditions can be challenging in the Bay of Marseille.
Musto and World Sailing have joined forces to produce Evening the Keel, a four-part documentary series that captures the insights of a new generation of sailors and the challenges still faced in the pursuit of gender equality. Two years after the idea was launched, the series is now ready for broadcast and features several of the sport’s biggest names, including Tracy Edwards MBE, Sam Davies, Clarisse Crémer, Justine Mettraux and Francesca Clapcich. There’s also a look at World Sailing’s Emerging Nations Program, as six athletes qualify their country for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, meaning a total of 21 Emerging Nations sailors will line up in Paris – 13 more than at Tokyo 2020. The Emerging Nations Program supports athletes with training and development opportunities they would not otherwise receive, in order to reduce the performance gap between the largest nations and the smallest sailing nations.
