NASCAR, TNT and Amazon Prime Video to Debut Season Tournament in 2025


NASCAR announced the formation of an in-season tournament that will take place in 2025 with its new broadcast partners Amazon Prime Video and TNT Sports. The winner will receive US$1 million.

The tournament will begin with the final three races airing on Prime Video. These races will determine the drivers’ standings in the head-to-head bracket for the top 32 drivers. The standings will be established by the best result in each race across the three races, and tiebreakers will be broken by the next best result followed by season points position.

TNT Sports, which will broadcast all five NASCAR Cup Series races after five on Prime Video, will carry the tournament. The driver with the best ranking in each head-to-head match of each race advances in the tournament.

Prime Video and TNT Sports will share 10 NASCAR Cup Series midseason races beginning in 2025. The new media rights agreement runs through 2031.
