CRDA’s free entertainment continues this summer at Kennedy Plaza and Gardner’s Basin » NJ CRDA

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (June 24, 2024) – The Atlantic City Boardwalk and Gardner Basin will be alive this summer with free LIVE music, courtesy of the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA).

Free entertainment runs from June 26 to September 5 at Kennedy Plaza across from Boardwalk Hall. Atlantic City residents and visitors will enjoy performances across genres such as Rock & Roll, Jazz, Rhythm & Blues and more.

Produced by Tony Mart Presents, this incredible CRDA-funded 11-concert series features headliners and award-winning international artists. Enjoy diverse programming including blues, rock, funk, Americana, jam & roots rock, New Orleans R&B and classic Rock and Roll.

Kicking off the series on June 26 is “Piano from Savannah,” Victor Wainwright & The Train. Don’t miss the “Eddie and the Cruisers” celebration on July 3rdthird featuring John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. On July 24th, relive the iconic Tony Mart Legacy Last Waltz Concert, a tribute to the Martin Scorsese film originally filmed after Levon & The Hawks became Bob Dylan and the Band.

This year’s lineup includes spectacular performances by New Orlean’s Bonerama, Phantom Blues Band with Curtis Salgado, Samantha Fish, the iconic Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Southern rock and blues star Devon Allman. Enjoy performances by young jam bands like Victor Wainwright and The Train, and Philadelphia R&B star Jeff Bradshaw. Classic tribute bands include “Everyday People,” a tribute to Sly and the Family Stone, and The Tony Mart Classic Rock Guitar Tribute.

Chicken Bone Beach Jazz Concert Series returns to Kennedy Plaza between Mississippi and Georgia Avenues at 7pm on Thursday nights, June 27 through September 5. These free Thursday night shows feature world-class concerts that attract residents and visitors drawn to heritage, jazz and cultural entertainment.
