Choose your EA SPORTS Player of the Season


Eight players have been selected for the 2023/24 EA SPORTS Player of the Season award, and you can help decide who wins.

You fans even have 12pm BST on Monday 13th May to vote for your favorite via the EA SPORTS website.

Public votes will be combined with those from a panel of football experts to decide the winner, who will be revealed on Saturday 18 May.

Phil Foden (Man City)

The 23-year-old Academy graduate was one of the standout midfielders in 2023/24. He has been utilized in a more central attacking role by Pep Guardiola this season, directly contributing to 24 goals, including two hat-tricks, as Manchester City bid to be the first team to win four consecutive Premier League titles.

Erling Haaland (Man City)

This season’s top scorer scored 25 goals in just 28 games, leaving him four clear in the race for the Castrol Golden Boot. The 23-year-old also scored five goals for his teammates, making him one of only three players this season to reach 30 goals. He wants to keep the prize he won last season.

Alexander Isaac (Newcastle)

The Swedish striker has 21 goals in just 27 matches. Isak, 24, is the first Newcastle player since Alan Shearer in 2002/03 to score 20 goals in a Premier League season, while his minutes-per-goal rate of 101.3 is second only to Haaland’s 91.8 among players with more than two goals.

Martin Odegaard (Arsenal)

The Arsenal captain has set an example this season as the Gunners continue their quest for their first league title in 20 years. The 25-year-old scored eight goals, assisted eight goals and created 94 chances, the second most in the championship, as well as being a key player in the pressing game.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea)

Palmer, 22, enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign at Stamford Bridge after arriving from Man City. He equaled Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard’s Chelsea record of 16 Premier League home goals in a season, whilst also becoming only the third player in history to reach 30+ goals in a PL season aged 21 or under, after Robbie Fowler It is Chris Sutton.

Declan Rice (Arsenal)

Rice, 25, has had an excellent debut campaign for Arsenal since signing from West Ham United. Mikel Arteta transformed him from a midfielder into an excellent box-to-box player, as shown by Rice, directly contributing to 15 goals whilst making 79 tackles and 43 interceptions.

Virgilio van Dijk (Liverpool)

Liverpool’s Dutch centre-back was back to his best in Jurgen Klopp’s final season at the club. The 32-year-old, who won the award in 2018/19, made the third-most passes in the league and was dribbled past just twice all season, while his 186 duels won are the second-most of any defender.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)

The 28-year-old Aston Villa striker is the one with the most goal contributions in the league. His 19 goals put him fourth in the race for the Golden Boot, while his 12 assists put him two points clear in the chase for the Castrol Playmaker award.
