Summer is really flying by and we’ve already reached the last weekend of June, believe me. Before you know it, we’ll be seeing back-to-school sales ads.
In other words, summer can seem endless when you’re in the middle of it, but if you’re not careful, it will pass you by. (Don’t be like me that year, when I realized in August that I hadn’t been to the beach yet.)
Either way, the goal of this newsletter is to point you to entertainment opportunities, dining options, and more so you can live your best life all summer long. Let’s see what the weekend has in store.

The weekend is expected to be rainy, with the possibility of thunderstorms on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, there is only a 40% chance per day, so maybe we are lucky. Highs in the 80s.

Summer in Wilmington is in full swing and we have events to prove it.
From a show with country star Cole Swindell at the Live Oak Bank Pavilion downtown to a stand-up show with “Saturday Night Live” cast member Michael Longfellow at the Dead Crow Comedy Room, there’s plenty to see.
Other highlights include a production of the beloved musical “Annie” at Thalian Hall and several new art exhibits opening downtown for Fourth Friday Gallery Night. The link to the full list is below.
