Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield’s Trip to Philadelphia, PA

The following is attributable to the U.S. Mission to United Nations Spokesperson Nate Evans:

Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, United States Representative to the United Nations and member of President Joe Biden’s cabinet, will visit Philadelphia, PA, on April 30. While in Philadelphia, the Ambassador will engage with various communities and stakeholders on the Biden-Harris Administration’s foreign policy agenda, emphasizing its commitment to improving safety, security and prosperity for all Americans.

Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield will meet with civic leaders from Philadelphia’s vibrant African Diaspora community. At her meeting, she will emphasize her contributions to Philadelphia’s economy and cultural richness and highlight her entrepreneurship.

The Ambassador will also visit and deliver remarks at the William W. Bodine High School for International Affairs – a Philadelphia School District magnet school – to inspire the next generation of diplomats and will also participate in a fireside chat hosted by the Council of Philadelphia World Affairs. This event will highlight the U.S. Mission to the United Nations’ efforts to promote peace and democracy around the world, illustrating how these efforts contribute to the security and prosperity of Americans abroad and at home.
