Time revealed its list of the World’s Greatest Places of 2024 on Thursday, tantalizing travelers with 100 potential destinations.
The list features 50 tourist destinations and 50 hotels, a break from last year’s format, which named 50 major cities.
“Travel industry trends often reflect humanity’s identity: what the collective us “We want more when relieved of daily stressors and responsibilities,” the magazine’s editors wrote about the list. “While last year’s list featured 50 cities, this year we decided to explore even more — and more specific — establishments that excel in their field and in the world.”
The list is sponsored by New Murraba, a mixed-use real estate development in Saudi Arabia.
