Barron Trump Selected as Florida Delegate to Republican National Convention
US News
Donald Trump’s youngest son is about to enter the political arena.
Barron Trump, 18, about to graduate from high school, has been selected to serve as Florida’s delegate to the Republican National Convention taking place this summer in Milwaukee, according to the state party chairman.
Barron will join three of his other siblings, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and the former president’s youngest daughter, Tiffany, who are also among the 41 free delegates from the Sunshine State, Florida Republican Party Chairman Evan Power , said Evan Power.
“We are fortunate to have a great group of grassroots leaders, elected officials and members of the Trump family working together as part of the Florida delegation to the 2024 Republican National Convention,” Power said in an emailed statement.
Other delegates linked to the Trump family include Donald Trump Jr’s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Tiffany Trump’s husband, Michael Boulos, according to NBC News, which first reported the Barron news on Wednesday.
Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, has stayed away from politics since her father lost his bid for reelection to the White House in 2020.
Donald Trump is expected to be officially nominated as the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential candidate at the Milwaukee convention.
Barron has largely stayed out of the political fray. He is graduating from high school next week, a course his father is expected to attend after the judge in the former commander-in-chief’s trial gave him the day off.
