2024 24 Hours of Le Mans: A whole week of entertainment and a fabulous race village!

FAN ZONES, A MAKERS VILLAGE AND A HYDROGEN VILLAGE

There will be five fan zones open on the circuit from Tuesday, June 11th:

  • Competition Fan Zone
  • Family Fan Zone
  • Concert fan zone
  • Porte Est/Porto Leste Fan Zone
  • Panorama Fan Zone

These areas are open to all race participants and combine a variety of restaurants, rest areas, video screens and activities around a variety of different themes. Options include outdoor games, ziplines, Mickey’s Journal Kids’ Zone and the ever-popular simulators, so there’s something for all tastes and ages!

Fans can also check out the Manufacturers’ Village, featuring Toyota Gazoo Racing, Porsche, BMW M, Alpine, Ford and Lotus, and explore the 24 Hours of Le Mans Village, where exhibitors such as Peugeot, Ferrari, Rolex and TotalEnergies will keep spectators entertained with countless activities. Last but not least, Hydrogen Village will showcase the latest cars that run on this technology.

AFTER THE CENTENNIAL, BRING THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS SHOW!

In 2023, the circuit’s spectacular “Centenary Show” was an exciting experience for everyone present. The story of the iconic race was reenacted in a performance featuring 400 drones and a dazzling pyrotechnic display. This year, ACO will repeat the show at 11:15 pm on Saturday, June 15, right after the Simple Minds show. As the 62 competitors face off on the track, the crowd will be forgiven for looking up to the sky for a moment. Electro duo Synapson will provide the musical backdrop for the dazzling spectacle, which will become a highlight of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

AN ACTION FULL WEEK ON THE TRACK

After the traditional Technical Checks and Test Day sessions, the action returns to the circuit on Tuesday, June 11th, for an autograph session, a pit walk and the Pit Stop Challenge.

On Wednesday, time for real action on the track! In the morning, free practice for the support races will take place, including the debut of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo in La Sarthe. The first free practice sessions and qualifying for the 24 Hours of Le Mans will follow. The first concert of the week will take place on the circuit that night.

Thursday will feature the much-awaited Hyperpole session at 8pm. This spectacular session sees 24 competitors (8 in Hypercar, 8 in LMP2 and 8 in LMGT3) go head to head on the 13.626km circuit in a test of absolute speed, free from traffic interference.

Just like Tuesday and Friday, June 14th, it will be all about the fans. After the Fun Cup in the morning, all volunteers involved in the race will be honored in a special ceremony at the circuit. Then, from 3pm onwards, spectators will have the rare opportunity to step onto the Le Mans 24 Hours track. Anyone can come and explore the track on foot or using an environmentally friendly means of transport such as a bicycle, scooter or roller skates. Meanwhile, the famous Drivers’ Parade organized by Classic Automotive will begin at 4pm in the center of Le Mans. To end the day in style, there will then be another concert on the circuit.

And after all this, the moment everyone has been waiting for: the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, at 4pm, on Saturday, June 15th. In a few days, we will announce the name of the official race participant, another household name and global icon. As usual, there will be plenty of excitement before the main event, including a series of support races such as the Road to Le Mans and the arrival of the French flag, carried by helicopter. With the race underway, Saturday will culminate with the Le Mans 24 Hours Show later in the evening.

Then set your clock to 4pm on Sunday 16th June to see the winner cross the finish line. Ferrari, Toyota, Cadillac, Peugeot, Porsche, Alpine, BMW, Isotta Fraschini, Lamborghini… Who will lift the trophy at the end of what promises to be another historic race?

Final tickets available to see free practice and qualifying, the Hyperpole session and shows from Louise Attaque and BigFlo & Oli!

The ACO has already announced that tickets for Race Week and Race Weekend are sold out and now informs that there are only a few tickets left for the free practice and qualifying sessions and Hyperpole, in addition to the shows on Wednesday and Thursday. These tickets are compatible with the Green Ticket offer, which encourages spectators to use sustainable means of transport.
